Marttiini Metal Oy has launched a new generation of grippers that takes the versatility of excavators to a new level.

The new MRT syncro grip system brings unprecedented precision and efficiency to the material handling.

“The new system solves a traditional problem where uneven loading of the grippers could have interfered with precision work,” says Teemu Rahkola, the company’s production manager. “The pressure equalisation valve automatically and optimally distributes the hydraulic force to both clamps.”

MRT Syncro grip ensures that the clamps always meet each other precisely tip-to-tip. This ensures that the load remains centred on all lifts. The system works reliably even in slow movements and uneven load conditions.

The hydraulic cylinders are protected by generous shields and there are no loose parts in the structure. The tips of the gripper clamps are positioned inside the body of the module when it closes, preventing them from sticking to the environment.
